Paige Childers

New Accounts Administrator Specialist

Paige Childers has been a part of Corporate Billing since the early days, beginning as a banker with First American Bank. When the bank expanded with Corporate Billing as a subsidiary, she transferred to the new team. Since 1988, Childers has provided exceptional, accurate service to business clients and fellow bankers.

Childers is instrumental to many of Corporate Billing’s operations, from processing new client applications to ensuring filings are accurate to helping clients obtain funding and approval they need.

In addition to maintaining a high level of timeliness and accuracy in the midst of strenuous regulatory procedures, Childers is proud of making the impossible happen for clients.

“I had one client that was so confident in my ability to help that he would call me and say, ‘Get out your magic wand because I know you can help me,’” she recalls. “A happy client turned into a long-standing trustworthy client.”

Corporate Billing served as a valuable resource the business community during the 2020 pandemic. Even amidst countless unknowns, Childers says the team “never missed a beat” in continuing to provide the best service possible.

“Corporate Billing continued to grow during a time when a lot of companies were going out of business. The fact that we were purchasing clients’ receivables also kept many of our clients in business during that difficult time. I’m proud to have been a part of that success story,” she adds.

On a personal level, Childers feels grateful for the chance to continuously improve during her long tenure.

“Corporate Billing has given me the opportunity to learn and grow from a wide range of individuals with diverse backgrounds and become a professional that my team and clients feel comfortable with,” she says.

Opportunities to expand her skill set is just one of the reasons Childers has remained with the company for 36 years, 17 of those with Corporate Billing. She praises the atmosphere of inclusion, encouragement and support that makes going to work feel less like work.

“From day one the employees have been more like family than a workplace. We all care for one another and strive to work together, not against each other,” Childers says. “We are a special team of people.”
